Butterfly Wishes

Swallowtail, Modern Medley, Stampin' Up!Here’s one of the cards I made while we were gone this weekend.  I used a brand new designer series paper for the background with the Swallowtail stamp set.  Swallowtail was in the Spring catalog, but it’s being carried over to the 2013-14 annual catalog, so you’ll still be able to purchase it.  The designer series paper (Modern Medley) will be available May 31 after noon MT.

Our new little dog – Walter – has adapted to our family very well.  Walter has decided that he’s supposed to go with us to the office each day.  Today, Mike & I rode together, and Jon called Mike on the way.  The ringtone Mike has for Jonny is a dog barking, and when Walter heard it, he went crazy.  Whenever he sees or hears a dog that he thinks is encroaching, he has to bark at it.  He was so busy barking at the imaginary dog that he didn’t even notice the real dog we were passing.

That was my “life lesson” for today.  So many times I get upset or anxious over what might happen or over something I don’t fully understand, and I totally miss the good things that are happening around me.   Thanks to “Little Walter,” I’m going to be more aware of the positive things that surround my life.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy – and have a wonderful day!

Thanks, Laurie! The header was fun (with MDS, of course!), and the card was super quick. I’m thinking about making several sets of these for gifts.
