Blushing Spring Bride

Color Refresh, Blushing Bride, Stampin' Up! Spring CatalogIt’s coming back!!!  One of my absolute favorite colors ever – Blushing Bride – is returning with Stampin’ Up!’s “Color Refresh.”  I can’t believe I didn’t like it at first – but then I saw it with Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.  Ahhhhhh!  So vintage-y and soft.

This was inspired by the back cover of a magazine I bought a couple of weeks ago.  I call it, “Blushing Bride meets the Stampin’ Up! Spring Catalog.”  There are so many fabulous products in that catalog, and there are only about 6 more weeks to buy them.  I’m hoping all of the ones I used on this card (Lacy Brocade embossing folder*, 7/8″ cotton ribbon*, paper doilies, 5/8″ flower trim, creped filter paper) make it to the new annual catalog.  (*carried over from the Holiday catalog)

Other products I used – Large Pearls Basic Jewels, Creative Elements stamp set – wood, and Bring on the Cake stamp set – wood.  I also used a little Blush Blossom cardstock, ink and ink refill (retired, but coming back!), as well as Soft Suede and Crumb Cake for stamping and sponging.

Now, if only Poppy Parade would make a reappearance, I will be very, very happy.

Have a wonderful day – and thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy!
