A Make & Take and a Swap

Baltimore Regional, Stampin' Up!, Dress Up Framelits, tags Here’s one of my swaps from the Stampin’ Up! Baltimore Regional.  This was created by Kathy Rau from Elkridge, MD.  Is this cute or what?  I love the colors in this tag.  Sadly, the paper and ribbon are retired – I think from the past two Sale-a-brations – but it’s so easy to switch to some current ones (or use your leftovers!) with the Dress Up Framelits.  Now’s a good time to stock up on retiring designer series paper and card stock that will be retiring, too – because when it’s gone, it’s gone.

I love the little extras on this – the shimmer paint on the dress form, then Dazzling Details to add a little glitter to the edges of the dress and to create a chain for the pearl necklace, and the purse made from the cupcake punch.  How clever is that?  Thanks, KatStampin' Up! Baltimore Regional Make & Take, Clockworks, notebookshy!

And this is one of our make & take projects.  The original is a little different than this one.  I was talking and eating my cupcake and helping Mom decide what to get in her demo kit, so I didn’t make the projects at the Regional.  I finished this one this afternoon, but didn’t have the sentiment stamp the project called for.  I used two stamps from the Fabulous Phrases set.

Clockworks is one of my favorite sets, and I hope it is in the new catalog in June.  I just love the collage-ability of these stamps!

I just looked really closely and I see I got a little crazy with the Simply Scored.  I tend to score too fast, so the stylus skips out of the track – kind of like my ball does when I’m bowling.  (I am the Gutter Ball Queen!)  And, boy, once you see the mistake, it just glares right at you, doesn’t it?  Oh, well…This will either go on the table beside my computer for notes or in my purse – and we all know it won’t fare any better in either of those places!  (Edited to add:  It probably would have been nice to tell you this is a little notebook.  We made the cover for it as one of the projects.  It’s a 4×6, I believe, and really cute!)

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy – and have a wonderful day!
