Birthday Fishes

By the Tide, emboss resist, Stampin' Up!I was accompanying a voice lesson yesterday, and the teacher had a beautiful box of tissues on the piano.  It was so gorgeous, it was the inspiration behind this card!

I used “By the Tide” from the Stampin’ Up! Spring catalog, with the “Essentials” Happy Birthday stamp (also in the Spring catalog).   I stamped the script image with versamark, then embossed with clear powder before sponging ink all over the layer.  The Gumball Green border was cut with the Adorning Accents Edgelits die, and I added basic rhinestones in each scallop.

Tomorrow I leave for the Baltimore regional!  I can’t wait.  I know we’ll have so much fun and learn a lot of new techiques as well as ideas for recruiting and other business tips.  I’ll post the cards I’m swapping over the next few days.

Have a wonderful day – and thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.
