I didn’t have time to create anything today. Sad, right? Actually – Stephanie and I did create something gorgeous – but I forgot to take pictures. We dyed eggs and then glittered them! So cute. Steph even had a two tone (blue and purple) egg. It was “So Stephee!”
In the meantime – if you need a quick and easy basket for a few pieces of candy, here’s a cute basket created by Carrie Cudney (from Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Training). She’s amazing, and always comes up with the most clever ideas. This was on the Stampin’ Up! blog. Here’s a picture of the front and back.
Carrie used some of the More Amore specialty designer series paper with Naturals Ivory card stock. She stamped the Distressed Dots background stamp on the card stock, then embossed with clear powder.
Here’s a list of the framelits, dies and punches used
Body: Ovals Collection Framelits Dies (I used the fourth from the smallest)
Hands: Ovals Collection Framelits Dies (smallest oval cut in half)
Feet: Ovals Collection Framelits Dies (smallest oval cut in half)
Ears: Ovals Collection Framelits Dies (smallest oval) and Large Oval Punch
Nose: Small Heart Punch (trim off the top edge of the heart)
Eyes: Owl Punch
Whiskers: Pool Party Baker’s Twine
Egg: Small Oval Punch, Owl Punch (heart), Bitty Banners Framelits Die (banner)
Basket: Petite Purse Bigz L Die
for the rest of the basket.
With the Big Shot, framelits and dies, and our fabulous punches, this bunny is a snap to make. So if you need a last minute basket or gift, give it a try! (Thanks, Carrie!!)
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy – and have a wonderful day!
