I saw a great color combo in a magazine – “brown and teal.”  Well – this isn’t brown and teal.  It’s Crumb Cake and Baja Breeze.  But it made me think of the ocean – and since winter is lingering – and lingering – this year (where is that groundhog???  I’m going to give him a piece of my mind!), I find myself longing for the beach.

I thought it was a great way to use my new “By the Tide” set from the Stampin’ Up! Spring Catalog.  I added a little Old Olive and Calypso Coral to the color scheme, and I used the Window Frames collection framelits to frame the shell.

The best thing about this card – it makes a really quick “thinking of you” card.  You could use this sketch with the different stamps in the set and have a quick set of cards to give as a gift.
