The Language of Friendship

Language of Friendship, punches, Ovals framelitsI found the cutest little notebook in an office store the other day.  It was only $1, so I had to buy it to bring home and copy.  Mine is a little bigger – so I had to “do the math” to adjust the measurements.  I think I’m good on math exercises for a year now.

I used Parker’s Patterns designer series paper for the cover, with the Language of Friendship stamp set and Ovals Collection framelits.    It’s so easy!!  I think I make up a bunch of these to give to friends.  Here’s the inside –

I added a little pocket inside the front flap for business cards.  This is a really old one.  (Note to self:  order new business cards!!)

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy – and have a wonderful day!

This is cute.  It’s hard to tell from the picture-How big is it?   I still love the project we did with the envelopes (lining the flap of one of them and attaching them, flap to back of envelope). We used 3 envelopes.  I enjoyed that one.  Do you remember it?  It was way back when I first started, about 5 yrs ago.  It was simple, but fun and useful for holding coupons, checks, notes etc.  I am going to make one for my oldest daughter and her family of 5 for intra-family notes.  It will take 5 envelopes but I will back it or insert and glue card stock to make it sturdier.

      Workin’ on it… (Thanks, Susan!)
Janet – The paper was 11-1/2″ x 10-1/4″ to start. I’ll post a diagram with measurements in the next few days. But the note pad is 3″ x 5″. I remember the “envelope project.” I still have mine in my kitchen!! I’m going to make one using the diagonal insert for the scoring board and designer paper. I think that will be cute! – and easier than lining the envelopes. Ohhhh….maybe a project for tomorrow!

The template has been added to the “Pages” section (at the top of the blog, under the banner, in the black box). It’s called “Notepad Cover Tutorial.”
