She Believed She Could

Feel Goods, Stampin' Up!, Spring Catalog, Secret Garden, Puzzle PieceYesterday, Mike had a 10-hour indoor cycling fundraiser for a local charity.  I’m so proud of him.  This is the second one he’s organized, and both were incredibly successful.  He tries to incorporate live music for an hour or so, and this year Ted Garber volunteered to perform for an hour.  It was so much fun!  You can read more about it here.

The sentiment on this card should be “He believed…”  Mike has always had huge dreams and doesn’t let things get in the way of achieving them.  I’m so proud of him!

I used the “Puzzle Piece” technique for this card.  I changed it a little; instead of starting with a white background and sponging two colors of ink, I used white embossing powder on Pink Pirouette card stock, then sponged Primrose Petals ink over the die cut pieces.  I used the Feel Goods and Bordering on Romance stamp sets with the Secret Garden framelits for the Sizzix Big Shot.  This is one of the techniques for March, so you’ll definitely want to attend the class Thursday, March 14 at 11 a.m.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy – and have a wonderful day!
