WOW – Stampin’ Up! just announced a new trial product – Photopolymer stamps. Yep. Photopolymer. A big, fancy word for “clear.” Not clear mount. Clear stamp. You can see right through it – so you know if it’s all inked up, you can see the ink transfer to the paper, and, best of all (just my opinion) – you can line that little baby up right where you want it. No stamp-a-ma-jig needed. (Personally, I love my “SAMJ” – but I know there are some out there who have palpitations every time I whip it out at a workshop. Maybe if I didn’t use the word “whip…”)
Here’s the first set. It’s called Designer Typeset, #132956. Here’s the best, best part. There are 57 pieces in that set, and it’s only $13.95. Yes, you read that correctly. $13.95. For 57 pieces.
Just imagine all the fun things you can do with this set! But wait –
It’s March 1, 2013, so that means a new “Best of” stamp set. The set for March is “Best of Flowers,” and it truly is. It has some of my absolute favorite retired flower stamps, plus a brand new stamp that coordinates with the 1-1/4″ scallop circle punch. Important details -the Best of sets are only available in clear mount. (Still a rubber stamp, but you mount them to your clear block. I know…it can be confusing, but stick around and I’ll help you figure it out!) Each Best of set is $14.95 and they’ll all be available through March 31 2014 – so if you forgot to order Best of Birthdays or Best of Love, you still can. And “best of” all – when you purchase 6 Best of sets, you can get a FREE set of your choice valued up to $14.95. On the label sheet, you’ll see a little circle sticker with a “25” on it. Peel it off and stick it to the collector’s card (also in the box). When you’ve collected 6, send it in for a free set. Easy. (Didn’t get a collector’s card? No problem. Let me know and I’ll send you one!)
That’s it for today. Whew!! I’m off to order some new stamps. (Can’t say, “New rubbah!!” any more, though. And, “New photopolymer,” just doesn’t sound right. I’ll have to think about this for awhile. Photopolyrubber? Nah.)
Have a wonderful day – and thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy!
