I am really enjoying the Artisan Embellishments Kit from the Stampin’ Up! Spring catalog. The products in it are so pretty and vintage looking.
Here’s another card we’ll be making at the class on Saturday. It uses several elements in the kit (ribbon, lace trim, flower), as well as the Vintage Verses set (a free Sale-a-bration product) and the 2012-2014 In Color Markers. I also used the color spritzer tool to add a dash of color on the Crumb Cake card.
I spent the day helping Mike set up the office for the seminar he’s hosting, and his personal office for my class tomorrow. He was rushing around trying to get things done. As much as I love the man, I have to admit when he’s rushing, he tends to get a little “hoodly.” That’s my grandmother’s word, and I love it. It basically means you’re not being careful, so you’re going to break something. Mom calls it “bumbling.” There was a box of dishes and junk that Mike had brought home from a house that had been abandoned. The “stuff” was in good shape, but it wasn’t anything we needed. He insisted we could sell it at a yard sale, so he dragged it home. We had a yard sale, and it didn’t sell – and it’s been sitting in the way ever since. So this afternoon, he knocked it over and broke a lot of it. Into the trash bag it all went. I think I showed great restraint in not mentioning that’s what I wanted to do with it in the first place. I didn’t think he was really in the mood to hear that, so I kept quiet. (Until now, of course.)
Have a wonderful weekend – and thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.
