I wash my hands a million or more times a day – really,I do! But I still managed to catch someone’s cold. I don’t even feel like stamping -sad – so here’s a cute project from the Stampin’ Up! Leadership conference last month. To create the flowers, simply stamp with versamark ink and emboss with white powder. Then spritz with water, touch your aqua painter to ink refill and then into a pool of the water you spritzed. It spreads into the well created by the embossing and creates a soft watercolor look. Fun!

I should have been more clear – and I blame this stupid cold. I didn’t make this; it was a sample at Leadership. It was on the product display at the Simply Scored Borders Scoring Plate (Spring Catalog, p. 26, #126192) station. I’m assuming (since I can’t find a framelit that matches it exactly) that the scored the bottom, then cut it by hand. You can, however, get a very similar look by using the Apothecary Accents framelits. Insert the card stock so only the bottom is under the cutting edge. I’ll post pictures tomorrow! It doesn’t match the embossing pattern exactly, though.

You poor thing! I’ve been sick for almost two weeks and just now coming out of it. HORRIBLE cold!!! Drink lots of fluids and get some Mucinex if you’re coughing!!! Hugs!

Bev, you’re brilliant!!! It IS the sideways label. How “out of the box” is that? I didn’t even think about turning it.
