Craft Day Creations

Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit, Print Poetry designer series paper, Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog

I had a wonderful time at craft day today.  Rachel was there, and she did Mary Kay “Satin Hands” with all of us.  And then she shared her artistic expertise.

I ordered some of the kits from the Stampin’ Up! Spring Catalog, and I wanted to do some things with the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit.  I made a card, but it was very simple, so I asked Rachel, “What does this need?”  Rachel is a teacher, and she has taught me how to “balance” a card, or how to help the eye focus on a project so the brain understand it.  So she just said, “You know very well what it needs.”  I had to smile, because I did know; it needed a little something in the corner.  Ginny suggested I turn up the corner and add a design or designer paper.  That was inspired!  So, I turned up the corner, added coordinating paper to the corner and inside, then added a large pearl basic jewel when I got home.  I love the way it turned out!  Most of this is from the Pop-Up Posies designer kit; I added paper from the Print Poetry designer series paper stack, the pearl, and the card base.

Here’s a card Rachel made.  It was a challenge today, because we had very limited supplies.Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit, Print Poetry designer series paper, Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog  Isn’t that cute?  I love the different colors she used.  They’re perfect for spring!

We started with the Pop-Up posies kit, but also used the Oh, Hello set and the Madison Avenue free Sale-a-bration set.  A little Primrose Petals stitched satin ribbon and some pearls finished it off.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.  I hope you have a wonderful day!
