Creped Filter Paper Flower Tutorial

Since I’m still on the road and my stamp room isn’t – and since my computer with all my photos is packed away, here’s another video for you.  It’s a tutorial for the cute creped filter paper flowers in the Stampin’ Up! Spring catalog.

The creped filter paper and doilies are really easy to dye.  You can use the Stampin’ Spritzer to spritz them with an alcohol and ink refill mixture after the flower is created, or you can use a brayer to add color before you form the flower.

A few notes – in the video, the artist uses the largest flower frame to die cut the creped filter paper, but in the Spring catalog, she used the second largest.

Stampin’ Up! supplies used to create the flower:Creped Filter Paper
Tea Lace Paper Doilies
Big Shot
Floral Frames Framelits Dies
Silicone Craft Sheet

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy, and have a wonderful day!

TFS – I just had a flashback to 4th grade when I learned how to make tissue flowers!! Her results are a bit nicer, tho the technique is the same. Thinking I may have to try this with a punched flower.
