Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference day 2 has been amazing so far. During our general session this morning, we learned that there are two awesome new products coming out. First is a kit for men called, “Dude, You’re Welcome.” It’s so cute, and if I could have talked Mike into being a supporting demonstrator, I’d have one right now. All male demos and male supporting demos received a free kit today. Sweet, right? It will be available Monday, though, for everyone who didn’t get one today. Watch the video to see more. And, yes, we all laughed when they announced that instructions were included. Ha! What guy reads instructions?? Mike Cooper, this may be your Father’s Day gift! I’ll turn him into a stamper yet.
The other news – we’ll be offering a monthly “subscription kit.” These are so nice. You pay $19.95/month and get a cute box of supplies (stamps, ink, embellishments, paper – everything except adhesive) to make projects. Best of all, the $19.95 includes shipping! You can sign up beginning Monday, and the first kit will ship in March. All Leadership attendees received the first month’s kit and a “Try It” kit today. The “try it” kit is different from the first month’s kit, and it’s $16.95 (plus tax, shipping). Here’s a picture of the “try it” contents.
More information and subscription details are on the “Paper Pumpkin” web site. It’s a perfect gift for people who don’t have a lot of time or space for mega supplies, but want to send handmade projects “from the heart.” Kits will be various projects – cards, gifts, scrapbook items, home decor…It that cool, or what?
It’s been a terrific day – and the next general session starts in about an hour. It’s a “Pajama Party,” which I thought was a little weird. Hey, I grew up with brothers and gave birth to sons. Plus, these days, my pjs are a “Stampin’ Up! 15th Anniversary” t-shirt (this is our 25th, so it’s a 10 year old shirt) and gym shorts. But, honestly, I’m looking forward to kicking back in lounge pants and a hoodie and enjoying the evening!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy – and have a wonderful day!
