We’re off to Orlando and the Stampin’ Up! Leadership conference. Well – Almost. Mike had some things to do before we could leave, and they’re taking a bit longer than he planned. But that’s wonderful – because I had a ton of things I was leaving until we got home. Now I can get them done – like the dishes (Jon’s happy about that!) and some cards I needed to make.
I got a call this morning from a dear friend who’s going through a tough time. The connection was kind of sketchy, but I know her mom passed away last week. So I wanted to get a card in the mail before I left town. The Sale-a-bration “Happy Hello” Simply Sent kit was perfect. There are 8 die-cut cards (4 are printed with “Hello” in Daffodil Delight; 4 are plain) with embellishments you can add. They’re cheerful enough to brighten someone’s day – but can be plain enough not to be a smack in the face if you’re sad.
The kit comes with 8 die cut cards, 8 printed envelopes (the flap has the same design and die-cut as the card, but it’s Daffodil Delight), basic rhinestones, Daffodil Delight and Basic Gray self-adhesive die-cuts and Basic Gray/White baker’s twine (exclusive to this set). And you can get them FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-bration (Jan 22 – March 22).
I’ll have news and pictures from Leadership for you starting Thursday! I can’t wait. Best of all, I get to meet Susan (from yesterday’s post) and a few other cyber friends. And, of course, I’ll have some fun time with Mike. It will be kind of a mini-vacation.
Have a great day -and thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy!

Wow that was strange. I just wrote an extremely long comment but after I clicked submit my comment didn’t show up.
