I’ve mentioned before that when I get new stamps, I tend to ignore my lovely older ones. So I pulled out some “old” stamps today from the Stampin’ Up! annual catalog. Actually, Everything Eleanor has only been in the US catalog for less than a year, and Fabulous Florets isn’t much older, so “old” is a relative term.
I had fun with this one. I heat embossed the flowers with black powder, watercolored them and added them to the card with stampin’ dimensionals. I used a lot of colors in the pink/lavender/red spectrum while I was coloring – Rose Red, Regal Rose, Wisteria Wonder, Pink Pirouette, Perfect Plum and Raspberry Ripple. The leaves are Lucky Limeade. And I found that I really like the Wisteria Wonder/Rose Red combo.
Have a wonderful day – and thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy!
Golly you are so productive!!!

Buffy, I love the way you’ve used these OLD stamps. Yes, old is subjective. I had a look at my shelves and am wondering why I have so many stamps that have either not seen ink or have barely been used. Surely I liked them enough to buy them! I just got so carried away by Christmas that the ones I bought from the Annual Catalogue got “lost”. I’m going to begin playing with them, too, and see if I can come up with anything half as nice as you have.
