This was such a wonderful Christmas! We had a delicious dinner with all the kids, Dad, Mom and Aunt Ruth. It was so nice to spend time with so many family members – and, of course, we all got great gifts. Among other things, Mom made me a book cover out of the Stampin’ Up! Springtime Vintage fabric (I think that was the name; it’s the same as the place mat in the photo). It’s my favorite, and was available on the Clearance Rack for only $.99. I believe that pattern is sold out now, but there are lots of others to choose from – both on the clearance rack and in the current catalogs. You can order 24/7 from my online store!
Speaking of current catalogs – Jan 2 is the last day to order from the Holiday catalog, so don’t miss out on those great products. On Jan 3, you can begin ordering from the Spring catalog. Every time I look through it, I find something else I love.
If you look at the date on the photo of Mom’s gift to Aunt Ruth (above), you can see why I couldn’t find the picture! I was just searching dates, and the camera is a little off. (Like almost two years!) My dear husband found it for me. But didn’t my mom do a great job of coordinating the box and the fabric and ribbon? She’s amazing. And, yes, that’s homemade Raspberry jelly in the box. Mom sews, cooks, fixes stuffed animals the dog has chewed up, cans veggies from the garden, sings beautifully, sells real estate when she feels like it, and a whole lot more. She is definitely a Proverbs 31 woman! She’s my role model for being a wife and mom – and is my best friend (ok – after Mike).
I hope your Christmas was as wonderful as ours. One of the nicest things about my family is even though we enjoy being together and always have great food (and presents!!), we don’t forget that the reason for the celebration is the birth of our Lord Jesus. I’m so grateful for His love and grace!
Have a wonderful day – and thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy!
