Here’s a little basket for those smaller gifts that you want a special package for.  It’s made from the Festival of Prints designer paper stack in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog, the Two Tags die (for the Sizzix Big Shot), and some Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler card stock.  It’s fun, quick and easy, and quite a bit larger than you’d think.  It will hold a little package of cookies, some candy, or a small gift – like jewelry or even a phone!

I have a friend who always told her children they had been “naughty” when they misbehaved.  The stamp in the Tags til Christmas set, “Even the naughty deserve something nice,” reminded me of her, so I used it for the tag on the basket.

Speaking of phones – Mike got me my Christmas present today.  It’s an iPhone 5!  (Yeah, Susan, we went with apple.  The man swears I’ll like it better.  We’ll compare in January!)  I’m so excited.  But when I stepped out of the car at the store, my foot slipped out from under me.  It’s been drizzling all day, and it was just enough rain to mix with the oil on the roads and make them slick.  Ouch!  I thought just my pride was bruised until later tonight.  I’m super sore, so I think I’ll hit the sack earlier than usual.
