…I’m the Gingerbread Man. This was one of my favorite stories when I was little. (Story here.) Kind of creepy, don’t you think, that the main character in my favorite story gets eaten? (Sorry…I ruined the ending there, didn’t I?) Maybe I understood “destiny” when I was a kid. Maybe I really liked the illustrations. Or maybe – and I think this is the real reason – I just liked gingerbread and was happy that someone got to enjoy the fruits of the old lady’s labors.
Whatever the reason, this card reminds me of the story. It’s a challenge based on a sketch by Amanda Corbet, another Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. It was really fun to make, and so easy with the Big Shot from Sizzix and the Holiday framelits that coordinate with the Scentsational Season stamp set in the Holiday catalog. I’m so spoiled by our stamps that have coordinating framelits and punches.
My Spring catalog preorder comes tomorrow! I can’t wait. There are so many cute things in the catalog, and the weather lately even feels like spring. I can see a lot of flowers and lace in my future!
Have a wonderful day, and thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.
