In Color Thanks

Betsy's Blossoms, In Colors, Stampin' Up, thank you cards

Here’s another card I made with my limited supplies last weekend.  I used Betsy’s Blossoms and the 2012-13 In Colors from the Stampin’ Up! annual catalog.

I inked the bird in Primrose Petals, then “thumped” it with a Raspberry Ripple marker to give it a mottled look.  I didn’t have any punches, so everything (even the circle) is hand cut.  It was really hard to create a project without the Sizzix Big Shot.  I’m so spoiled!

This design is from a sketch challenge from Stampin’ Up! demonstrator Susie Nelson on our stamping forum.  Three demonstrators design a sketch each week that we can use for a starting place for our creations.  They’re amazing!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy, and have a wonderful day!

Supplies – Stamps:  Betsy’s Blossoms, Perfectly Penned (single Thank You stamp); Ink:  Summer Starfruit, Gumball Green, Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple classic; Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals stampin’ write markers; Paper:  Whisper White, Primrose Petals; Other:  Gumball Green stitched satin ribbon, basic rhinestones, 2-way glue pen, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, stampin’ dimensionals, In Color dahlias, mini glue dots
