I saw this on Ronda Wade’s blog and had to copy it. It’s so cute! Ronda is one of the top Stampin’ Up! demonstrators, and she has so many great ideas. This uses punches, the Big Shot, and one stamp from the Just Believe set. And, of course, silver glimmer paper!
Isn’t this adorable? I used the Oval Accent Bigz Clear die for the Sizzix Big Shot for Santa’s beard, a circle punch for his button, and my paper trimmer for the belt buckle. I love it, and I already have someone picked out to send it to.
Speaking of the paper trimmer…I got my new one the other day and I love it. You’ll be able to order it in November, and let me tell you – it’s the best I’ve ever used. The base is extra wide, so you don’t have to flip out the arm every time you need to cut something over 5″. And the cutting area is long enough that you don’t have to take off the cutting (or scoring) blade to use the other blade if you have to cut or score something 12″ long. There’s even a nifty little storage compartment underneath, but I’m not sure what I’ll put in there. Maybe extra blades. Or maybe I’ll hide chocolate there. It’s not very deep, though.
Remember to order your stamps at the 15% discount Monday. You can call or e-mail me anytime before 10 p.m. Monday, or order online any time. If you have stamps you love – or if you need a personalized stamp or want to try the cookie press stamps, this is a great time to pick them up! There are some fun single stamps, too, that you can purchase. I have several picked out already!
If you try to order online and for some reason you can’t get through on Monday, do let me know. Stampin’ Up! is aware of the potential storm, and they’re ready to go the extra mile. Again! What a terrific company, right?
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy – and have a wonderful weekend.
