Sparkly Winter Memories

Winter Memories, Stampin' Up, Mixed Medley, Big Shot, Christmas, HolidayI had a wonderful time stamping today. I got five cards designed, and I’m pretty happy with them.

I wanted a window card using the Peekaboo Frames Sizzix die for the Big Shot, and I decided to use the Winter Memories set from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog in the window.  Now that I’ve dusted off my watercolor pencils, I want to use them all the time.

I’m really liking the Cherry Cobbler/Night of Navy combo on this one.  The paper is from the Festival of Prints paper stack.  I added a stamped snowflake with a Vintage Faceted Designer button at the bottom corner, then decided it needed something over the window.  The sparkly snowflake is die cut from the silver glimmer paper.

Here’s a look inside the window.

I think the little mug of cocoa from Scentsational Season would also look good inside the window, but I wanted to watercolor.

Have a wonderful day, and thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy!

do the peekaboo frames just cut three sides?

Yes! And they are all different shapes and sizes. You can see them on my web site. (, click “shop now,” then go to “Die Cutting.” It’s a BIGZ die, Peekaboo frames.)
