Mike & I bought a huge box of cocoa K-cups at one of the warehouse stores a few weeks ago with dark and milk chocolate and peppermint cocoa. Yum! It’s especially good with whipped cream on top.
My friend Diane Oliver had the idea to put the peppermint candy cane from the Scentsational Season set (in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog) in the cocoa, and I had to CASE it. It was so clever!
This is just a quickie card. I didn’t do a lot to it, because, honestly – it was almost NCIS time. But it just reminds me of a snowy, frosty day.
Don’t you love the Festival of Prints paper stack in the Holiday catalog? The prints are so fun and can be used for other events besides Christmas.
I colored the silver glimmer paper with a sponge dauber and Bashful Blue ink refill. We found out this week that when you use a stamp pad, you get glitter all over your stamp pad. My friend Chris suggested we use ink refill – and she’s brilliant! Not only do you not get glitter in your stamp pad, you get a much deeper color, too.
Tomorrow I’m crafting with Sandy, and Friday is my “Open Craft Day” at the office – so I’m really looking forward to two days of stamping and playing with MDS 2. If you’d like to join us on Friday, you’re welcome! Let me know if you need directions. Just bring something to work on and expect to have a fun time.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy, and have a great day!
