All that Glitters

All that glitters might be diamonds and silver!  Or, at least, Dazzling Diamonds and Silver embossing powder.  I wanted to create a Christmas card using purples and blues with the Ornament Keepsakes and Holiday Ornaments Big Shot framelits from the Stampin’ Up! holiday catalog.  I decided to use two different colors on two of the ornaments, and emboss the third.  The outside two needed a little something more, though, so I added some 2-way glue and Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

Here are the details.  I hope they make sense.  I’m at the end of a 2-day migraine (ugh!), so I’m not as coherent as I’d like.  I inked the ornament on the left with Perfect Plum, then used a sponge dauber to add Elegant Eggplant to the outside.  The blue ornament uses the same technique, but with Marina Mist and Pacific Point.  The middle one is just silver embossed on Elegant Eggplant.   Easy! – and I needed that today.

I’m working on an ornament to match the card, but that will be (hopefully!) tomorrow.  Have a wonderful day – and thanks for stopping by “Stamping with Buffy!”
