Tomorrow I’ll be back in my stamp room, but I wanted to show you this fun card we made at tonight’s MDS 2 class. It’s totally digital, using the My Digital Studio 2 program from Stampin’ Up!®
We started with a template, then added some things, moved some things, rotated and changed colors. This afternoon, we used Winter Post, but tonight we chose the Beautiful Season set. It was fun to watercolor! I added the Ice Cream Texture from Sweet Scoops to the background. I changed the color to one a little darker than the background, then pulled the opacity back. It was easy to find! Just go to “Insert” and then click “Global Search.” I typed in texture, and lots of options came up. This seemed to be the best, though. I wanted it to kind of look like woodgrain.
I’ll be having regular MDS classes, so check here and my calendar for events! I have the notes from this afternoon in a Word file, so if you want them, leave a comment with your e-mail address and I’ll send them to you.
Hope you’re enjoying these lovely first days of fall! Have a wonderful day – and thanks for stopping by.
I would love a copy of your notes from your MDS class I am still in the beginner stages but plugging along. I love you card today.
