I think the man had a nice birthday. All the kids were here, and all four parents (mine and his) – plus two dogs. We had a great time with the family, and today…Today, Mike is back to juicing and Jon’s in the ER. He’s had severe abdominal pains all day. We thought it was probably just muscle aches from working out, but as the day wore on, it seemed a little odd for muscle pain. So, we’ll see. Mike wasn’t home, and I had to leave, so Wesley took him to the hospital (aren’t little brothers awesome??), then Rachel met them so Wes could go home. That was around 7 p.m. It’s almost midnight, and he’s still not home. (Don’t you love the emergency room??) The last I heard, he was just waiting for the doctor to tell him what the problem is.
While I was waiting, I wanted to use the Al Punto set I won from the Stampin’ Up!® Convention 2012 Hispanic Night challenge. It’s so cute. I decided to use the “Gracias”stamp to make a thank you card for Tonia, my sweet hostess for September stamp club.
I colored the stamp with markers – Gumball Green, Island Indigo, Raspberry Ripple – then colored with lighter colors after I stamped (Primrose Petals, Pool Party; blender pen for leaves). This was so quick and fun. I think I’m going to be using this set a lot!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day.
