This is a copy of the card my friend Susan Horr sent me for my birthday. I changed the color and used fabric instead of designer paper, but I kept the design and the stamp set (Mixed Bunch). I’ve also wanted to try using ribbon for a flower stem instead of paper. We made this in stamp club this week, and this is my “sample.” When I made this one, I forgot to fray the fabric. I think that would look really nice – and you’d be able to tell it’s fabric. But I do like the clean look of the card. Susan is a master at clean lines and elegant cards! Everyone loved making this.
Isn’t that a happy card? I love the way the flower is above the card. It will fit in one of the Stampin’ Up® medium envelopes if you make sure the flowers don’t make the card over 5-1/2″ tall.
Thanks, Susan! This was a hit. (I knew it would be.)
Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful day.
