Today’s Card Buffet was so much fun! I think everyone had a good time. I love creating with friends, and helping them learn new techniques and tricks.
I was getting ready to pack up after everyone left, and then I saw the leftovers in the pack of supplies used on the Winter Memories card here. And then my eye fell on the Christmas Lodge stamp set. And I remembered how cute the card Liz made with Greeting Card Kids was. And one thing led to another..
All of the cards use the same basic supplies – Midnight Muse and Gumball Green card stock, exclusive Stampin’ Up!® framelits and embossing folders for the Sizzix Big Shot, Gumball Green stitched satin ribbon. But I used different stamp sets (Greeting Card Kids, Harvest Blessings, Christmas Lodge), and I added one little layer of leftover Cherry Cobbler c’oredinations card stock to the Greeting Card Kids one. I love how they’re all so different – but basically use the same supplies. The Harvest Blessings card (with the tractor) isn’t Christmas, obviously, but it would be a great card for Thanksgiving or for a guy’s birthday. Or just a “thinking of you card.” I love challenges like this!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day.
