Lovely as a Tree

Lovely as a Tree, Stampin' Up!, masking, reverse maskingHere’s the final option for the Card Buffet.  This uses the oldest stamp set I own – Lovely as a Tree.  I think this set was in the catalog when I became a Stampin’ Up!® demonstrator 9 years ago!  It must be everyone’s favorite because it’s still selling strong.

For this one, I used two techniques – masking and reverse masking.

I die cut one of the Apothecary Accents frames with my Big Shot to use as a mask, then sponged Chocolate Chip and Midnight Muse classic ink around the mask.  I used the frame part as a reverse mask, then wheeled Music Notes in the open area with Sahara Sand ink.  The trees are stamped in Midnight Muse, and I added a little Dazzling Details over them.  I thought I used it pretty sparingly, but they still bled a little more than I wanted.  I think tomorrow we’ll use a 2-way glue pen with Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

The sentiment is stamped in Chocolate Chip, and it’s from Bells & Boughs.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!  Thanks for stopping by.
