I was cutting paper last night and decided I needed another option or two for the card buffet on Saturday. I love the Beautiful Season stamp set in the Stampin’ Up® annual catalog. Sometimes the sets in the annual catalog get overshadowed by the Holiday offerings. Beautiful Season and Greeting Card Kids are two that I love, but forget about in the excitement of the holiday catalog newness.
I stamped the image in Jet Black StazOn, then colored it with watercolor crayons and an aqua painter. I cut it out with a Labels Collection framelit. Before I adhered it to the card, I ripped a piece of c’ordinations card stock, layered it to a Crumb Cake card and ran the whole thing through the Big Shot with the Woodgrain embossing folder (in the Holiday catalog), then lightly sanded the c’ordinations card stock. If you get too crazy with the sanding block – especially if you’ve embossed the c’ordinations card stock – it will tear, so be gentle. I stamped the sentiment (Teeny Tiny Wishes) on leftover card stock, punched with the Decorative label punch, then added a little greenery from the Christmas Lodge set (also a favorite in the annual catalog) around the edges. Easy!
I have one more option to show you, so you’ll see it tomorrow. Have a great day – and thanks for stopping by!
