I got a swap in the mail today from my friend Linda Wicks in New York. I haven’t asked her if I can share it, and it would be perfect for a contest Stampin’ Up!® has each month. So you can’t see Linda’s yet (and it’s gorgeous!!), but you can see my sparkly “CASE” of it.
I used the new Mixed Medley hostess set from the Holiday catalog (you can order from it now!) and just about every sparkly product in the Stampin’ Up! catalog. Really. I think I skipped shimmer paint and Dazzling Diamonds glitter.
Stamp Sets: Bells & Boughs, Mixed Medley*; Ink: Versamark; Bashful Blue, Marina Mist classic; Paper: Silver glimmer paper; Marina Mist, Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Shimmery White card stock; Other: Punches: 3/4″ circle, 1-1/4″ scallop circle*, 1-3/4″ scallop circle, 1-3/8″ scallop circle; Simply Scored scoring tool, Basic jewels – rhinestones, Dazzling Details – silver*, iridescent ice embossing powder, Vanilla Shimmer smooch spritz (*available until Jan. 2 in the Holiday catalog; all other products available in the Stampin’ Up!® annual catalog)
Let’s count the glitter – Shimmery White card stock, Smooch Spritz on the Marina Mist scallop, Iridescent Ice embossing powder on the Bashful Blue snowflake, Silver Dazzling Details* on the “Merry Christmas” circle, Glimmer paper – largest scallop (and have you seen the champagne glimmer paper in the holiday catalog? Gorgeous!).
I wish I had stamped my “A Merry Christmas” a little more to the right, but the rhinestones balance it ok. The whole design is Linda’s. All I changed were colors and stamp sets. Love it! This is one of the fun things about being a demonstrator – SWAPS! I get so many great ideas from my fellow demos. Watch for our next blog hop Aug. 9 (Happy birthday, Rachel!). There will be some wonderful “Fall-i-days” projects showcasing the Holiday catalog.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day.
