Some friends and I decided to swap scrapbook pages with the theme, “About Me.” I’ve had this ready since May, but we didn’t swap until the last night of Stampin’ Up!® Convention 2012. Now that most of the others have their copies of this, I can show it off here.
It’s totally digital. I used My Digital Studio, and layered lots of paper and stamps to create the background. If you look really closely, you can see a music score as the top layer. The butterfly, of course, is because I’m continually growing and emerging as the person I was created to be. And the flowers…Well, I’m not sure. I can’t grow them, but I do love them! It kind of looks like a dogwood, and that’s the state flower of Virginia, and I’m definitely a “Virginia girl!”
I also added some of my favorite quotes and some of my favorite things. And this is what I came up with.
I had this professionally printed by Stampin’ Up! I wanted the colors to be “true,” and since there was a lot of color and images mixed in, I wanted to be sure it came out the way I designed it. Since it was a 6″x6″ page, I just put 4 to a page and had 4 pages printed. The minimum is 5 pages, so I added a page of backgrounds. I love the way it turned out.
My Digital Studio2 will be available August 1! And there will also be a My Digital Studio2+. If you have My Digital Studio (MDS), you can upgrade to MDS2 for $19.95. It has over 75 new features and is awesome. I got to play with it a little at convention. MDS2+ has all new content (new stamp brush sets, new papers, etc.). If you want that, it’s $79.95. A lot of the new content has been offered as downloads (and you can still order them separately). If you don’t have MDS, definitely go for MDS2+. The new content is very fun and fresh.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day.
