Stampin’ Up Convention News and Cool Projects!

The internet is so slow tonight.  It’s taken about half an hour to get logged in and the page up for a new post.

Here are a couple more pictures from the “Display Boards.”

My classes today were “I Am…Having Fun!” with Shannon West, and “I Am…Reaching Out,”  with Emily Montoya.  Shannon had everyone dancing, and she gave us a great playlist for music at workshops.  (She’s always so much fun.  She was in costume this morning.)  And Emily share some terrific tips for connecting with “Gen Y.”  Having given birth to two members of this generation, I’m a little partial to it, so I’m looking forward to working more with this group.  I learned two new text shortcuts – Y! (typical man, which I have promised never to use when referring to Mike!) and E2EG (ear to ear grin).  Isn’t that so much more fun that a plain “LOL?”  Because, really, most of the time I “LOL,” I really have an E2EG.  I try not to use too many shortcuts, though.  I’m still a Boomer when it comes to full words and punctuation.

We also went to “Hispanic Night.”  The projects those demos presented were amazing.  I’ll tell you more about that another day, though.

A little news for you – If you want the “Carry On” hostess set that had been pulled for legal issues, it will be back sometime next week!  So book your party today so you can earn it with your hostess dollars!

Have a wonderful day, and thanks for stopping by.
