Christmas in July

I played around with the card design Darrah Hopper sent me the other day.  I thought it would be fun to use as a Christmas in July card, and I just got some new sets and accessories from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog.  It’s one of the best yet!  (I know, I know.  I say that every time I get a new catalog.)

Stamps:  Petite Pairs, Winter Memories*, Watercolor Winter*; Ink:  Jet Black Stazon; Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso classic; Watercolor Wonder crayons – Subtles, Neutrals, Regals; Sahara Sand stampin’ write marker; Paper:  Midnight Muse, Bashful Blue, Whisper White card stock; Cherry Cobbler Core’dinations card stock*; Other: Aqua Painter; Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon, Big Shot, Stampin’ Sanding System*, Holiday Ornaments framelits*, Woodgrain embossing folder*, 2-way glue pen, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, Platinum shimmer paint, Dazzling Details, Simply Scored scoring tool, stampin’ dimensionals (*available August 1 in the Holiday catalog; all other products available in the Stampin’ Up! annual catalog)

The Holiday catalog products are so fun!  I love the core’dinations card stock with a lighter core.  When you sand it, the lighter center really shows up.  The sanding system is a larger  block with two different grits of sandpaper.  You attach it with velcro, so you can buy refills when your sandpaper is used up. And there’s a “dust buddy” cloth you can purchase that cleans up the sanding dust in a snap.

You’re going to love the products and ideas in the Holiday catalog.  If you don’t get one before August 1, let me know and I’ll send you one.

Have a great weekend – and thanks for stopping by!
