Just Flying By To Say…

…hi!  Here’s a card I started last Friday, but didn’t get finished until today.  It was super simple!  I punched about 12-15 circles from Stampin’ Up!’s new Summer Smooches designer series paper with the 1-3/4″ circle punch, folded each in the center and glued them together “accordion style.”  I added a string, a sentiment and some more paper and that’s it!

Stamps: Fabulous Phrases; Ink:  Tempting Turquoise; Paper:  Summer Smooches designer series paper; Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight card stock;  Other:  White baker’s twine; small oval, 1/2″ circle, 1-3/4″ circle punches; stampin’ dimensionals

I have a lot of new cards to show you, but I think for the next few days I’ll post some more swaps.  They’re amazing!  I got three in the mail today, and I loved every one.  Well, I haven’t gotten one swap I didn’t like!  I always think the ones I send are nice, and then I start receiving them, and think, “Boy, I need to step up my game.”   You’re going to love them, I know.

When I got home this afternoon, we had a visitor.  One of Jon’s friends had a dog escape today while he was at work. Rachel picked him up from the SPCA – who, fortunately, found him before he got hurt – and brought him to our house.  Hank is cute as a button, but looks so tiny after being around Hoss and Toby.  Here’s a picture of the two of them.  You just don’t realize how big our Hoss is until he’s around another dog.

It was hard to get a good picture, because one or the other kept moving.  But you get the idea!  Hoss is the big one on the left.  Hank is the little guy on the right.  They’re both angels – probably because they’re both rescued dogs, so they appreciate being taken care of.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day.
