Today was so much fun! It was another Liz & Sandy Friday. We met at the office around 10 and stamped until after 3. I got about a card an hour created. This was the first one. I was going to use a Natural Composition flower frame on it, but, as Liz said, “You’ve got a lot going on, there.” So what did I do? I added more stuff! I decided to emboss and sponge the main layer, take off the specialty paper, and, well – here’s the finished product.
Stamps: Everything Eleanor, Tea Shoppe; Ink: Island Indigo, Crumb Cake, Pool Party classic; Daffodil Delight stampin’ write marker; Paper: Naturals Ivory, Island Indigo card stock; Other: Modern Label punch, Dazzling Details, Big Shot, Fancy Fan embossing folder, Delicate Designs embossing folder, sponge dauber, stampin’ dimensionals
This could use a little crumb cake ribbon, but for the most part, I’m happy with it. I love the way the embossing turned out. The delicate designs folder almost looks like real lace.
“Stamping Days” always challenge me, because I invariably need something that none of us brought. It’s a fun challenge.
When I got home, I found three cards waiting for me, and, wow! – are they awesome! All three were so amazing and totally different. I can’t wait to show them off at workshops and club.
Have a great day – and thanks for stopping by.
As I told you yesterday when I watched you “create,” this is fabulous! I love it, and have all sorts of plans for how I will CASE it, but change it just enough to make in mine. Such an inspiration you are. Here’s to the next creative Friday. Hugs.
