Harvest Blessings

This month…
Extra $50 in Hostess Dollars in June & July
Demonstrator Starter Kit with Patio Party Suite for $99 in June
Buffy’s In Color Club

Here’s another set from the new catalog.  I love Countryside, with the truck full of apples.  Harvest Blessings is kind of a companion to that one, with a tractor, a basket of produce and two sentiment stamps.  This is one of them.  I really like this saying, since I’m a firm believer in creating your own “destiny.”  I’ve found that most of my circumstances are consequences of my choices – good or bad!

Stamp sets:  Serene Silhouettes, Harvest Blessings; Ink:  Basic Black classic, Jet Black StazOn; Watercolor Wonder Crayons – Neutrals; Paper:  Whisper White, Night of Navy, Basic Gray card stock; Twitterpated designer series paper; Other:  Whisper White taffeta ribbon, Apothecary Accents framelits, Big Shot, paper piercing tool, stampin-pierce mat, silver brads, stampin’ dimensionals; soda can

I wanted a shadow image behind the trees, so I stamped them first using a Basic Gray watercolor crayon to ink the stamp.  After it dried, I stamped it again with Basic Black ink.  For the sentiment, I stamped on a soda can, then cut it out with one of the Apothecary Accents frames and the Big Shot.

I wanted to back the framelit with some card stock or paper.  It just seemed to need it after I looked at it for awhile.  But it was really stuck on there tightly with dimensionals, so I decided to leave this one alone before I destroyed the frame!

Be sure you check in this weekend.  My “llama” friends and I are hopping again.  We’ll be showcasing products from the new catalog!

Have a great day, and thanks for stoppping by.
