Upsy Daisy is one of the retiring sets I’ll really miss. It was so versatile and fun. But I’ve seen a sneak peek of some of the new Stampin’ Up! catalog sets, so I know I’ll have a lot of products to keep me busy. It’s been hard not to order today, but I’m waiting for Monday so my new catalog will be shipped with my order. I’m very jealous of my friends who live on the west coast, and especially my friend Kath in Utah. She gets her orders the same day they ship. I think she has to wait a whole hour. Even if I ordered today, I would get my order until next Wednesday or Thursday at the earliest. *sigh* I guess that’s the cost for living on the “right” coast!
Here’s another technique we’ll be playing with at the class Thursday. It’s “Colored Emboss Resist.”
Stamps: Upsy Daisy*; Ink: Versamark; Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Pacific Point, Basic Gray classic; Paper: Very Vanilla, Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight card stock; Other: Wild Wasabi embossing powder, heat tool, Big Shot, Framed Tulips embossing folder, Summer Smooches fabric brads+, Daffodil Delight Seam Binding Ribbon**, sponge; *retiring May 31, 2012, +Summer Smooches sneak peek – no longer available; **Summer Smooches sneak peek but will be back June 1!)
The Daffodil Delight seam binding won’t be available in May, but it will be back in June in the new catalog. Sadly, the fabric brads were only available in April, and they’re gone now. But this one went so well with the card, I couldn’t resist!
Hope you don’t find too many mistakes in this post. My laptop fan died, so my laptop won’t stay on for more than a minute or two. I’m using Mike’s laptop to post this, and it’s really different than mine. I’ve typed some really weird words, but I think I found most of them.
Thanks for stopping by!
