Garden Thanks

My mom (who is one of my biggest supporters, even when I’m grumpy.  I love you, Mom!!!) volunteered to write thank you cards for door prize donors at a luncheon we attend each May.  I told her I’d give her some cards I made with Stampin’ Up!® products, but haven’t had a huge amount of time to stamp.  I do have some to give her, though.

Here’s one I made tonight that’s another CASE** of one that Liz brought the club yesterday.  It’s another “StazOn on window sheets” card.

Stamps:  Just Believe; Ink:  Whisper White StazOn; Lucky Limeade, Cherry Cobbler classic; Paper:  River Rock, Always Artichoke, Baja Breeze card stock; Twitterpated designer series paper+; Other:  Window sheets, mini glue dots, gold brads*, Big Shot, Beautiful Wings embosslit (*Available in the Occasions mini catalog through April 30; all other products are available in the 2011-12 Stampin’ Up!® Idea Book & Catalog; +retiring)

This was so easy and fun.  I stamped the floral images in StazOn on a window sheet and on the Always Artichoke layer.  They I added some butterflies (they’re under the window sheet) and the stamped greeting.  The shadow under the green butterfly isn’t part of the card.  That would be the reflection of the photographer in the window sheet.

Be sure if you’re using StazOn that you also use StazOn cleaner.  It really cleans the ink off the stamps.  The white StazOn comes with a refill, because you’ll need to ink it often.  I really inked mine up yesterday morning, and today it already needed a little more.  But that little bottle of refill goes a long way!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day.

The cards you brought are simply outstanding, Buffy. I LIKE them all so much, I almost dread sending them out!!!!! I really like this one – and absolutely love the one in Sunday’s blog with .the watercolored yellow roses. Have a blessed (and, I hope, restful) day.
