Stampin’ Up!® has released the latest list of retiring stamp sets. I love it when this list comes out, because it means lots of new stamps are coming to the new catalog! I can’t wait to see what will be available in the 2012-13 catalog.
To see the list of retiring stamps, visit my web site. You can see the sets in the online store, or view a list of stamps under the “Promotions” tab. The retiring accessories list will be posted April 25, so stay tuned!
Here’s a card that uses three of the sets that will be retiring. I had fun with this one.
Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, Elizabeth, You’re Cherished; Ink: Basic Black , Cherry Cobbler classic; Versamark; Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler; Other: Cherry Cobbler embossing powder, heat tool, stampin’ sponge, aqua painter, Basic Black satin ribbon, large oval punch, stampin’ dimensionals
I’ve tried many times to create a black and white card, but somehow, a color always sneaks in there (usually red). Rachel gave me another terrific idea for this stamp set, and I can’t wait to try it. For this one, I stamped the flowers in Basic Black, then embossed the Elizabeth stamp with Cherry Cobbler powder. I colored in the image with Cherry Cobbler ink, then stamped the sentiment, punched it and sponged a little ink on the edges. Quick and simple – but I think it’s kind of elegant, too.
All retiring stamp sets will be available through May 31. After that – gone! Some Occasions mini sets may make it to the main catalog in June, but we won’t know before the end of April – and if they don’t make it, it will be too late to buy them. So if there’s anything in the mini you love (and what’s not to love, right?), do order it now so you don’t miss out. After April 30, there’s a good chance a lot of those products will also be gone.
Thanks for stopping by! Don’t forget to take a peek at the retiring stamp list and place your order either by e-mail, phone or online. Have a great day.
