There are lots of reasons why you should hostess a Stampin’ Up!® workshop during Sale-a-bration, and this card has at least three of them. It’s a card that was on a display board at the recent Stampin’ Up!® Leadership conference, and uses several SAB products. Take a look.
Stamps: Petite Pairs, Fresh Vintage*; Ink: Soft Suede classic; VersaMark; Paper: Everyday Enchantment designer series paper*; Very Vanilla, Calypso Coral, Soft Suede card stock; Other: Big Shot, Elegant Bouquet embossing folder, Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die, Soft Suede taffeta ribbon, crochet trim – Victoria, Everyday Enchantment ribbon & brad pack*, sponge, basic jewels – pearls, vanilla embossing powder (retired) stampin’ dimensionals (*free Sale-a-bration products; also available in the hostess bundle for qualifying workshops)
This card could be for any occasion, but I wanted to use it for a birthday card for one of my best friends from college. She’s such a good friend, in fact, that I made sure my first child was born on her birthday. I have no excuse now for ever forgetting her birthday!
I die cut the butterflies, then embossed them with the flower from Fresh Vintage. I used versamark and vanilla powder, but you can get the same (or, at least, similar) results using Very Vanilla craft ink and clear powder. I added a little sponging to the butterflies and to the Very Vanilla layer after I embossed it with the Elegant Bouquet folder.
The ribbon on the butterflies and the Calypso Coral ribbon in the ribbon assortment on the lower right, the designer series paper and the Fresh Vintage stamp set are all exclusive Sale-a-bration items. Hostesses with a $400 minimum workshop can also get these products in a free bundle, plus the exclusive Sale-a-bration tote, $65 in merchandise and a half price item. Sweet!! Contact me to schedule your workshop before SAB is over!
Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful day.
