Come to Tea

I didn’t get as much done as I wanted, but I did get quite a bit accomplished.  It was mostly odds and ends that have been hanging over my head, but I got to play with some of my new stamps (yay!!).

Here’s a card made with the Tea Shoppe set from the Occasions mini catalog.

Stamps:  Tea Shoppe; Ink:  Sahara Sand classic; Sahara Sand, Old Olive, Marina Mist stampin’ write markers; Daffodil Delight classic ink refill Paper:  Very Vanilla, Marina Mist, Sahara Sand; Other:  Big Shot, Labels framelits, Adorning Accents embossing folders, stampin’ dimensionals, crochet trim – Victoria, Dazzling Details

I inked the stamp with markers, stamped, then masked the cup and stamped the flowers.  After I cut out the labels, All I had to do was emboss and tie a ribbon.  The inside sentiment is also from the Tea Shoppe set.  Easy, right?  The hardest part was waiting for the Daffodil Delight Dazzling Details to dry!

I’m off to bed.  Wesley and I are working very hard to keep strong and healthy.  Steph came down with this stupid virus today, so he’s really loading up on vitamins and washing everything.  My hands are so dry right now, because I think I’ve washed them about 1000 times this afternoon.  Every time I touch something that someone might have touched, I wash them.  I thought I was safe with my laptop and tablet, and then Mike made an off hand comment, “Never try to edit your blog with a tablet.” NOOOOOOOOOO!  “You used my tablet?”  Oh, it was just for a few minutes.  ARGH!  I know I didn’t wash my hands after I used it, because I thought it was safe.  I guess one can get a little over obsessive about this, right?

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful – and healthy – day.
