This will be a quick post, because I have to get up at 5 a.m. tomorrow. Bleh. I know, I know. A lot of you get up at that time or earlier every day. But let me tell you – I’ve never been a morning person. Ever. And there’s a reason I own my own business. I don’t want to get up early and go to work. I’d much rather stay up until 2 a.m. and then get up at 8 than to go to bed early and get up at o’dark thirty! But tomorrow I have no choice. I have to be in Richmond at 10, so we have to leave Stephens City around 6:30. *sigh* I’m not driving, though, so maybe I can sleep a little.
I realized with the catalog ending in May that we only have about four more months of the 2010-12 In Colors (Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait, Concord Crush and Blushing Bride). I think these are my favorite colors ever, so I’m really going to miss them. I don’t usually use retired products, and I don’t want a lot left over after June, so I’m trying to use them all up. Well – I’m almost out of all the PP colors and I have four more months. So I’m trying to decide if I want to buy more or ignore them for four months. Oh, the decisions I have to make, right? Anyway – here’s a card that uses two of the PPs (Poppy Parade and Peach Parfait) with Lucky Limeade.
Stamps: Flower Fest, Fabulous Phrases; Ink: Poppy Parade, Basic Black; Paper: In Color designer series paper (hostess pack; retired); Poppy Parade, Lucky Limeade, Peach Parfait; Other: Fancy Flower punch, 5-petal flower punch, 2-3/8″ scallop circle punch, Everyday Enchantment ribbon & brad pack
This was very simple and quick, but I needed a card to match the tissue paper and gift bag for a gift I’m giving tomorrow. This is almost a perfect match!
Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!
