I printed the “So Grateful” design on Very Vanilla, then colored the flowers with makers. I added two rows of pearls and didn’t realize until I finished that I covered part of my “S.” Oops. I love the new framelits; they make cutting out these coordinating images a snap. After I put it all together, I thought I needed just a little something in the lower corner, so I added a few itty bitty flowers. I used the scallop punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack and scrunched them around the brad to look more like flowers.
One thing you need to watch when coloring digital images is if you use an ink-jet printer, the images can smear. I used a very light touch with the markers, and cleaned the tip every now and then just in case black ink had gotten on it. But really, this whole card was so easy! I love hybrid cards, because the digital images are less expensive, always usable, you get them right away and there’s no shipping fee. At the same time, you get texture and dimension from the “real” products.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day.
