Butterflies and Doilies

I’m so excited about the Open House tomorrow, so I can show you some of the new products in the Occasions mini catalog and some sneak peeks of Sale-a-bration products.  And you’ll get to use the new Adorning Accents edgelits and embossing folders and some of the new framelits.  I hope you can stop by for awhile to chat and see what’s new and to enter the drawing for the door prizes.

Here’s another “blossom butterfly” for you.

Stamps:  Herb Expressions, Petite Pairs, Hello Doily; Ink:  Blushing Bride, Perfect Plum, Early Espresso, Old Olive, Regal Rose classic; Perfect Plum, Pear Pizzazz stampin’ write markers; Blushing Bride classic ink refill; Paper:  Twitterpated designer series paper; Blushing Bride, Sahara Sand, Pear Pizzazz, Perfect Plum card stock; Other:  Big Shot, Framelets – Labels, Adorning Accents embossing folders, Adorning Accents edgelits, blossom punch, Dazzling Details, Stampin’ Dimensionals, sponge, aqua painter, Dotto

I love this card, because it’s fairly simple, but doesn’t look it!  The edges are cut with one of  the edgelit dies, and then I used the coordinating folder to emboss it.  Cutting the edges is a piece of cake with the dies, and you can do both at a time so they’re lined up perfectly!

The butterfly is the blossom punch with a few petals cut out.  I liked the idea of the Dazzling Details on the wings, but now that I see it, I’m not feeling the love.  I’d probably leave it out on the next one.

Do drop by and see me Saturday – from 10-1.  Have a great day – and thanks for stopping by!
