It’s a Tag…It’s an Ornament!

The Online Extravaganza is coming, Monday, November 21 and continues through Wednesday, November 30.  This is our annual sale to kick off the holiday shopping season, and you’ll see some huge savings in my online store!

Savings include FREE digital downloads valued at $40 when you buy My Digital Studio Express, 60% off select Designer Fabrics, and 30% off an exclusive ribbon bundle! There will be two items on sale for 24 hours only (November 21, 12:01 AM – 11:59 PM [MT]) – so make sure you don’t miss the first 24 hours of the Online Extravaganza!

You can order online, or you can contact me to place your order.  If you want to purchase Clearance Rack items or downloads, you’ll need to order online (easy and secure!).  Log in to my online store on Monday, Nov. 21, look around, find out what the two special items are and then place your online Holiday Extravaganza order!

Note: When you place your qualifying order on my Demonstrator Business Website you will be eligible for all the usual hostess benefits.

I was going to give you a break from my Christmas projects, but this was just too cute not to share today!  It was designed by Stacey Buzbee, and I saw it on the blog of the #1 Demonstrator in the US for 2011, Tami White.  You can look it up and get the directions – or you can come to my super cool end of the year Christmas party on Dec. 3 or 7 (both at 10 a.m.).  Here’s what it looks like.

It’s a cute little tag that you can add to gifts.  But, look what happens when you pull that little “bead.”

Isn’t that cute?  And it’s so easy.  It looks better in person.  Once I get my tree up, ornaments will be easier to photograph.  Seriously – this took me less than 20 minutes to make.  Here are the supplies I used.

Stamp sets:  Pennant Parade, Serene Snowflakes; Very Vintage jumbo wheel; Ink:  Cherry Cobbler, Wild Wasabi classic; Paper:  Very Vanilla card stock; Holly Berry designer series paper; Other:  Pear Pizzazz 1/8″ taffeta ribbon, sponge, stamp-a-ma-jig, Simply Scored scoring board*   (*available in the Holiday Mini Catalog; all other products are available in the 2011-12 Stampin’ Up!® Idea Book & Catalog)

You’re supposed to add a bead to keep the tag closed (or the ornament open), but instead of buying one (or bumming one off Rachel or Steph!), I made a paper one from designer paper.  It’s kind of dorky; I need to reread the directions for making those.  But I love the ornament, and I can see these on lots of gifts in the future!  They’d be cute for other occasions, too.

Tomorrow I’ll show you the anniversary card I made for my sweetie (and by that I mean Mike, of course).  We’ll celebrate our 29th on Nov. 27!

Have a wonderful weekend.  Don’t forget to check in on Monday for the Online Extravaganza!  Thanks for stopping by.
