This is a busy week, and there’s lots of stamping news! First – if you took advantage of the free MyDigitalStudio.net downloads, we had 5000 new people come to the site and get the downloads – so we got another one! Be sure to check MyDigitalStudio.net by November 20 to download the 5th free one. And you don’t have to have My Digital Studio to use the downloads. They’ll work with other programs, too.
From now until Dec. 15, if you hostess a $350 minimum workshop, you’ll get an extra $35 in hostess credits to use on any Stampin’ Up! product you want. Nice, right? Contact me now to book your workshop. And of course you still have one more week to get a FREE Big Shot or $100 in Stampin’ Up! product! Just sign up to be a demo and order the starter kit with almost $400 in stamping and business supplies, and you’ll qualify. There’s no obligation to ever sell or hold a workshop, although it’s a lot of fun! Contact me or visit my web site for information.
Here’s another swap I got the other day. Fall colors are my favorites, so I fell in love with this card from my friend Stephanie McKinnon in Florida.
Stamp sets: Gently Falling, Thankful For; Ink: Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, So Saffron; Versamark Paper: Cajun Craze, So Saffron, Very Vanilla; Supplies: Gold embossing powder, embossing buddy, heat tool, stampin’ dimensionals, mini glue dots, Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon
Isn’t it gorgeous? Everything on the Very Vanilla layer is gold embossed. Then she embossed the leaves on the inked paper, cut them out and layered them to the card. The seam binding ribbon almost looks like velvet, don’t you think? (And – HORRORS!! – I ran out of Cherry Cobbler seam binding today. Yikes! Good thing I have an order going in tomorrow.)
It’s almost NCIS time, so I’m off for today. Have a great week – and thanks for stopping by!
