I promise not to rush Christmas and start showing lots of Christmas and winter cards. But I just got a new set from the Holiday mini catalog – Christmas Lodge – and I have to show you a couple of the cards I made with it. It’s a great set for watercoloring, and perfect for the new mica flakes and Dazzling Details.
This is one I did last night. It uses several new products -the Christmas Lodge stamp set, new designer series paper (Frostwood Lodge), Cherry Cobbler quilted satin ribbon, mica flakes, shaker frames and the Dazzling Details glitter glue. I really didn’t use all my new products on this card; it just seems like it!
Stamp sets: Christmas Lodge, Serene Snowflakes; Ink: Jet Black Stazon; Marina Mist classic; Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Crumb Cake, More Mustard stampin’ write markers; Paper: Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Whisper White card stock; Frostwood Lodge designer series paper; watercolor paper; Other: Mica Flakes, silver glass glitter, window sheet, Big Shot, Circles #2 die, Cherry Cobbler quilted satin ribbon, shaker frames, Dazzling Details
There are a few things I’ll do differently next time, but I really had fun putting this together!
Tomorrow I’ll show you some of the projects we’ll be making in club this month. Don’t forget the “Buy 3, Get 1 Free” designer series paper promotion this month! You can stock up on that great Nautical Expedition designer paper from the Summer mini catalog! All the designer papers in the Idea Book & Catalog and Summer mini catalog (excluding specialty paper and hostess products) are included, and there’s no limit to the number of free packages you get order!
The Summer mini catalog sales period will be ending August 31, so be sure to order any products you want that didn’t make it to the new catalog. The Strength & Hope promotion for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation will also be ending Aug. 31, so be sure to order the stamp set and/or download. For each purchase, Stampin’ Up!® will donate $2.00 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. And, as always, you can order online or call or e-mail me with your order and payment information.
Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!
