A group of us will be doing a “blog hop” soon, and I’m so excited. We’ll each be showcasing a specific section of the catalog, plus items from the upcoming holiday mini catalog. Each blog will have a link to the next one, so you can go in the circle all day long. I’m thinking of some really WOW projects that are a little different than what I usually do.
Here’s another one of the images I watercolored on Monday. This is such a fun set. I usually use it for the coffee sayings, but decided on “tea” today.
Stamp set: Morning Cup; Ink: Jet Black Stazon; Pacific Point, Crumb Cake classic; Watercolor Wonder crayons (brights); Paper: Tangerine Tango, Rich Razzleberry, Pacific Point, Whisper White card stock; watercolor paper; Other: Big Shot, stripes & perfect polka dots embossing folders, small oval punch, aqua painter, 1-3/8″ scallop circle punch, Rich Razzleberry grosgrain, stmapin’ dimensionals, scallop trim border punch
The stripes embossing folder looks very bold in the photo in the catalog, but in real life, it’s really pretty and subtle. After I embossed the scallop circle with the perfect polka dots folder, I flipped it over so the debossed side is up. And I love the Pacific Point, Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango combo. It feels very summer to me.
The pool is finally full of water!! We’re just waiting for the pool guys to cut the holes in the liner for the returns and put the ladder back up. I do wish they’d be a little more communicative about what they’re going to do. Are they going to put chlorine in it or are we? Are they going to vacuum it? Are they going to do anything else??? It’s a little frustrating to have it but not be able to use it yet. And, of course, I’m not used to just sitting and waiting for someone else to get on with a job. So I’m trying to be patient…
Guess I’ll go put my hands and mind to something else. Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!
