Today was a stamping day with Janet and Sandy. It was our last chance to stamp with Janet before she moves to Florida, so it was kind of bittersweet fun. She has such great ideas, though. Every time Sandy or I got stuck on a project, Janet would say, “Why don’t you try…?” and it always was the right thing.
Last night, Rachel went through my catalog and wrote down color combinations for me to try. The first was Early Espresso, Sahara Sand and Riding Hood Red. These colors are gorgeous together!
Stamp set: Strength & Hope; Ink: Riding Hood Red, Sahara Sand classic; Riding Hood Red, Old Olive stampin’ write markers; Paper: Very Vanilla, Riding Hood Red, Early Espresso, Sahara Sand card stock; Other: Big Shot, Square Lattice embossing folder, Whisper White/Early Espresso baker’s twine, stampin’ dimensionals
I stamped the butterfly two times – once in Riding Hood Red on a scrap of Very Vanilla and once over the text in Sahara Sand. That one looks really ugly by itself, but under the Riding Hood Red butterfly, it looks just like a shadow.
This stamp set (Strength & Hope 118100, wood mount, $17.95; 123660 clear mount, $13.95) is in the Summer mini catalog, and for each stamp set or digital kit sold, Stampin’ Up!® will donate $2 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The Strength & Hope digital kit (124475, $9.95) includes a 4-piece stamp brush set, 12 Designer Series Papers and 10 embellishment pieces. Visit my web site for more information or to place an order.
I’m off to start work on a project for Mike. Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!
